As the official destination marketing organization for Uvalde County, Visit Uvalde County sought to redefine how visitors experience this unique region—where Texas hill country meets pristine river country. Our team was brought in to craft a bold, cohesive brand identity that highlights the county’s diverse outdoor splendor, special family-focused traditions, and warm, small-town hospitality.
We conducted interviews with local business owners, an intensive workshop with the tourism Board of Directors, researched competing destinations, and scoured thousands of travel reviews to understand the target market. With those insights, we developed a full brand strategy: audience profiles, brand values, key messaging, and multiple taglines to guide future campaigns. We established a confident, welcoming voice that balances adventure with reverence for place.
We built out a visual system that could scale across platforms and seasons. We delivered a versatile logo system serving all three rivers in the region, custom brand characters to guide and delight visitors, icons, brand badges, and supporting graphic elements, map illustrations and social media and print collateral templates. Alond with the brand personality, these elements were delivered in a comprehensive, style-rich brand book and a well-organized Canva system for the client to use.
Every piece of the system was designed with longevity in mind. The new Visit Uvalde County brand is a sense of welcome and built to grow with the generations who return here, season after season.
