Austin's newest cafe and home goods shop fosters an inspired lifestyle.
As Maaribu began the process of executing on their vision, they needed a creative agency that understood and appreciated their mission. They came to STAV to develop the brand from the ground up, resulting in work that is thoughtful, nourishing and inspiring.
Maaribu is an Austin-based concept inspired by Marfa, Malibu and the principles of Scandinavian comfort. The hybrid bakery and home decor shop is rooted in genuine hospitality and designed for convenience, so it needed a brand to reflect those ideals. Our creative team designed the brand and identity to be familiar, engaging, and inviting, while still reflecting that guests will find unexpected delights in both the cafe and home goods store.
In addition to the complete brand + identity suite, we created standards for messaging and voice, communication strategy, in-store art direction, social media guidelines, staff uniform rules, and concepts for menus, clothing tags, matchboxes, and more. All the elements STAV Creative designed were laid out in a beautiful brand guideline book for Maaribu to reference as they bring their vision of a cafe and home goods store to life.
